What should I pay attention to when installing and maintaining a ball valve?

Installation points:

Confirm the flow direction mark (some ball valves have direction requirements).

Avoid high welding temperature from damaging the seal (welded ball valves require the valve body to be removed).

Leave enough operating space (especially for valves with handles or gear boxes).

Maintenance suggestions:

Check the valve stem seal regularly (to prevent leakage).

Lubricate the valve stem (for valves that are not operated for a long time).

For highly corrosive media, the valve seat/ball lining (such as PTFE) needs to be replaced regularly.
